Task Force on Telugu

The state government has constituted at ask force on Telugu. There has been increasing demand both by the state government and the people for getting ancient language status for Telugu.

Sports minister M Sathyanarayana Rao would head the task force. A Manjulatha, vice chancellor of Telugu university and ABK Prasad, chairman of the official languages commission would be the members. The task force would trace out the history of the Telugu language and submit its report to the government.
