Telugu Language - Writ tomorrow
A division bench of the A.P. High Court will take up on Tuesday a public interest litigation in seeking ancient language status to Telugu.
The Editor of telugu daily Andhra Jyothi, K. Ramakrishna Murthy, moved the High Court for declaring Telugu as ancient language. He contended that the Union Government declared Tamil and there was no reason why the same should not be extended to Telugu Language.
