'ఇంటింట ఘంటశాల'

HYDERABAD: Music legend Ghantasala's widow Ghantsala Savithri will be felicitated here on Sankranthi by the Ghantasala Gaana Sabha, a cultural organisation dedicated to the legendary singer.

Addressing a press conference here, its president K.V. Rao said singers from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Orissa would render Ghantasala songs as a tribute to the singer with golden voice at the Sri Tyagaraya Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally.

A non-profit organisation, ఇంటింట ఘంటశాల (`Intinta Ghantasala'), would also be launched to take Ghantasala's immortal works to the people by way of books, audiocassettes, videos, seminars and musical programmes.
