Scotland incorporates Dr Ramayya’s software
Hyderabad, April. 21: Dr Pradeep Ramayya’s cutting edge medical tool has been acquired by the Government of Scotland to be introduced in its health care system.
In alumni of Osmania Medical College, Dr Ramayya of Hyderabad has developed a software which offers medicare suggestions to the patient.
The tool, dubbed Excelicare, is also widely used in the United Kingdom. Presenting his software tool for the first time in Hyderabad on Friday, Dr Ramayya said, “It does thorough documentation of all the records of patients and taking help from the immense database in the software, suggests treatment to patients. It is not restricted to just one ailment and every medical practitioner can use it through standard procedures.
That’s why, Scotland has accepted it.” Dr Ramayya is also trying to install the software in India through Vision 2020 which aims to control blindness in India. “You can monitor your patient from the house and any clinician in the world can access the data of the patient and come up with his own suggestions,” he said.
