వెన్నెల - Made in America

Vennela, released on 26th Nov '05, is a Telugu movie potraying the lives of Indian graduate students in America.

I am not at all surprised with the theme of this Telugu movie considering the fact that Andhra Pradesh now sends more students to US than any other state, and Telugu has now become the lingua franca among Indian students in many American universities.

Parts of the movie were shot in Wayne State University, Detroit. The university is known to have a large Telugu student population.
