Telugu in a Danish museum

Look at this piece of furniture ( most probably a secretaire ) and observe the words near it's top:

It is an exhibition object at the museum of Kolding Castle, Denmark, and according to Dr. Vemuri garu, it is a reasonable guess that the person who once ordered it was connected to southeastern India through the ancient Danish trade colonies of Trankebar and Frederiksnagore (Serampor).

Oh dear. I mean, our potty training experiences have been frustrating , but I just take a deep breath, grab some paper towels and my trusty spray-bottle of cleanser, and get it over with.
