Piratla Venkateswarulu book release on June 27

VIJAYAWADA: In a move to revive the pristine glory of the Sri Ramamohana Pustaka Bhandagaram, the management has decided to unveil a paperback edition of the essays by president of the library Piratla Venkateswarulu.

The volume will be released by Kourtalam seer Sri Siddeswarananda Bharathi Swamy here on Tuesday.

The essays were compiled by Piratla marking the 168th birth anniversary of novelist Bankimchandra Chateerjee. They were relayed by the All India Radio.

The library plans to digitise the library, have a catalogue of books and make the library a treasure-trove for students and research scholars of ancient Telugu literature. The library has over 35,000 titles with a history of publication dating back to 17th century.
