APSRTC's craze for English resented

Hyderabad, September 20: The Andhra Pradesh Official Language Commission has resented ‘continued administrative use’ of English by the AP State Road Transport Corporation.

A.B.K. Prasad, chairman, in a press release here on Wednesday regretted the RTC’s ‘craze’ for English did not seem to have ended despite the commission holding training classes thrice for RTC staff at Bus Bhavan.

He pointed out that non-use of Telugu even after 40 years of implementation of the Official Language Act amounted to its violation.
