Telugu name to a star

The International Astronomical Union has given the name సోమన ("Somanah") to a minor star/ planet in honour of Dr Dinesh Somanah, currently lecturer at the University of
Mauritius for his contribution/ research work.

Dr Somanah is the son of late తొడ్డి సోమన (Thoddi Somanah) a former PhD in mathematics and great grandson of a Telugu immigrant from AP.
