VCD of Telugu play released

HYDERABAD: Sri Krishna Rayabaram, the famous verse-studded Telugu play based on myths, may have already been staged many a times, but it still can attract many. Any theatre actor would give his eye-teeth for the roles of Sri Krishna and Arjuna in the play. And the verses in Telugu from the play are popular all over the State.

Cashing in on the immense popularity of the play, noted film director V V Vinayak has brought out a VCD of the play, Sri Krishna Rayabaram. Directed by the famous stage director Deekshit D S, the VCD version of the play has Gummadi Gopalakrishna doing the main role of Sri Krishna. Gummadi had won awards from the State Government for enacting this role.

The VCD is brought out in association with A P Department of Culture.

Gummadi’s rendering of the famous verses is marked with excellence.
