Hyderabad, May 28: The Tarakarama Cultural Association will present NTR Memorial Award to renowned film lyricist Veturi Sundararama Murthy and Tanikella Bharani here on Monday.
Avula Manjulata, Vice-chancellor, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, where the function is to be held, will preside. A musical nite of select
NTR songs by Mitra Group will be organised to mark the birth anniversary celebrations of NTR, Telugu film thespian and former Chief Minister.
Nandamuri Jayakrishna and N. Ramakrishna, sons of NTR, will attend his birth anniversary celebrations.
`Ganabhishekam'
Kinnera Art Theatres and Sri Tyagaraya Gana Sabha are jointly holding a `ganabhishekam' of 84 songs. Ravu Balasaraswati, reputed singer of yesteryear, will be the chief guest at the function to be organised at the sabha. Dr. NTR-Kinnera Puraskar will be presented to well-known Telugu film producer and actor A. Pundarikakshayya on May 29.
