Ramoji Film City bags Golden Pony Award

HYDERABAD: Ramoji Film City (RFC) has bagged the Golden Pony Award for innovation and excellence in the leisure industry.

The award instituted by Games & Parks Industry magazine was presented to RFC vice-president Rajeev Jalnapurkar at Genoa, Italy on October 26, 2007.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jalnapurkar said RFC was the only Asian enterprise to win in the category this year.

Tourist destination

The award would further elevate the position of RFC of being the best tourist destination not just in the country but in Asia as well, said a press release here on Tuesday.
